Scanning and redeeming

Staff open the scanner inside the campaign, point any phone camera at the customer's QR, check the details that come back, type the staff verification code, and tap Redeem. The voucher locks across every device the moment it is redeemed, so it can never be used twice — and if anything is wrong the scanner says exactly what.

The walkthrough

Open Scan & Redeem from the campaign. Allow camera access when the browser asks, then hold the customer's QR inside the frame. The scanner returns the voucher's details before anything changes — offer, code and status. Only then do you type the staff verification code and press Redeem.

Why a verification code

The voucher link is shared with the customer, so anyone holding it could open the page. The staff verification code — set per campaign by the merchant — is what turns a shared link into something only your counter can complete.

Reading the results

Green means redeemed and locked. Amber or grey tells you why not: already redeemed, expired, not yet active, or the campaign is paused. Nothing is half-done — a failed scan changes nothing.

Common questions

What does “already redeemed” mean?

The voucher was used before — by another customer, an earlier visit, or by mistake. It is locked forever, so the customer needs a new voucher from the merchant.

Can I type the code instead of using the camera?

Yes. The scanner has a manual entry box — type the voucher code from the customer's screen or receipt and look it up.

Why is the campaign paused?

The merchant paused it. Paused campaigns refuse new redemptions until they are resumed, and the scanner says so explicitly.
